Amur Leopards are very endangered, they are close to extinction with fewer than 50 left in the wild. Their natural habitat destruction and the fur trade have diminished its numbers dramatically.
Until about 10 years ago very little conservation work had been carried out but in the past couple of years some major initiatives have been set up to try to save these beautiful animals.
£2 from every print sold will be donated to the Amur Leopard Conservation Support Programme.
When I saw this image I just had to draw it, wanting to capture every detail in this young Gorilla\'s face. I\'ve stared into those eyes a long time whilst drawing this, and I still wonder what he\'s thinking!
