Hi, thanks for visiting my website! My name is Marie and I am a pencil artist living in Nottingham, England. When I’m not drawing, I enjoy cooking, walking and photography!

Art was always my main interest at school, which led me onto studying Art & Design at college. Drawing has been my favourite hobby for as long as I can remember. As I was growing up I would draw just about anything, trying to capture a likeness of the subject on paper.

It was only recently, in 2005, that I began to devote a lot more of my time to drawing, and I have been developing my skill with graphite pencil ever since. My style is focused on the fine details of the subject for a real lifelike image.

I love to draw animals, especially dogs and cats, which has led me to produce commissioned portraits of peoples' pets. I am also looking forward to exploring a variety of other subjects and adding to my galleries with people and wildlife.

Whether it is a piece for my own enjoyment or a commissioned drawing, I am happy to now have a place in which to display my work and share it with others. I hope you will come back again to see my new drawings in the future!
